Indian Hills Ranch uses a set of Natural Service and AI sires that are complimentary to one another. Each sire has been carefully selected to insure that the demands of the Registered and Commercial cattleman alike are being met.
Great emphasis has been placed on such economically important traits as birth weight, weaning weight, yearling weight, ribeye area, and intramuscular fat. Structural soundness in our bulls has been of the utmost importance. The bulls that we send out to our customers have to be able to cover ground and hold up under adverse conditions. On the maternal side, selection for that functional female has not been forgotten. These sires will produce that high volume, easy fleshing and well uddered female that the industry demands. Only sires that are proving to pass their superior genetics on to their progeny continue to be used in the Indian Hills' bull battery.
